So this past weekend my best friend, Jade, had her wedding shower and it was fun. Im taking a break from movie and book reviews (not that i do that a lot anyways) to do a blog about my life. Oh side note: Im thinking about starting a vlog. If there is anyone out there that acutally reads this and has an opinion on that please let me know.
Anyways so I got my parents to keep the kids and headed to south carolina for my friends wedding shower. Not the wedding just the wedding shower. So I took the trip all the way thru birmingham and atlanta and it was great. Its a bit nerve racking traveling thry those big cities but i absoultly love it.. I would hate to live there tho. I made it in about 6ish hours. When i got there we went and ate at Calhoun Corner and let me tell you.. it was amazing. I had some kind of shrimp pasta and my two friends got the duck and i cant remeber wha aunt lynn got.. We all got some wine to go with it and that also was delicious (: If yall are ever in teh Clemson area yall need to try that place out for sure.
After that we headed back to her place where they played cards and i was struglling to keep my eyelids open. I evenutally had to give up adn just go to bed. She had to stay up and wait for her mom and sisters to get in .. I think they finally made it around 2am. Mind you they were coming all the way from Mississippi. Thats where i cam from as well.
The next morning we got up and went to the shower in anderson. It was held in her fiances dads house. It was very nice house. Big and well decoarted. The lady tha was hosting, had a good verity of foods and her pasta salade was off the chain (: i love me some good pata salad. We played a few games about the bride and groom and then took some pics. all in all a very good time. and i enjoyed myself.
Later we went back to the hotel that jades mom and aunt were staying at tried to swim in teh pool. And by tried we were excited to go swimming and got down there and it was on indoor pool. Who wants to swim in an indoor pool espically when we were all expecting it to be outside in the bright sun shine.. We even went to walmart and all of use bought a bunch of sunscreen so none of us would get burnt. haha we didnt want to swim inside so instead we bought somw pizza and chilled for a good minute.
About 8 that night we went to Frankies fun park i think the name of it is. IT has go-carts aracade lazer tag rides waters bumper cars..It was really fun (: we did putt-putt first and the the go carts which was really fun. I did ok on the putt-putt was was on the second course so it wasnt the easiest but it wasnt the hardest either. I think i got 60 maybe idk i definitly didnt win thats for sure.. I dont usually putt-putt anyways so im not good at it. After
